OOTD // The Floral Vs Tie Dye Debate

Dress Top Primark // Shirt New Look // Jeans TOPSHOP // Air Max Foot Asylum

What up?! I woke up this morning feeling reasonably okay, slowly deteriorated and was lying on the bathroom floor just an hour ago. Shit got too cray last night. But after sending my mum out for Mac Donalds supplies, I seem to have made a full recovery. HOORAY. Thanks mum, you babe :) I'm even well enough to blog, which as you all know is a rarity at weekends.

So yesterday, I wore this to work, after work drinks and what resulted in a house party, cray. I think this outfit is easily summed up as your typical man repeller look, men just don't like things they don't understand, top/dress, dress/top, what!? But the thing that surprised me was the ongoing debate as to whether this print was floral or tie dye. I (possibly wrongly) assumed this was floral, however a number of men referred to it as tie dye, completely mind blowing.

What do ya'll think? Tie dye or floral?

OOTD // Another Day, Another Tassel Bag

Jumper Vero Moda // Red Skirt River Island // Tassel Bag Boohoo // Flatforms TOPSHOP // Ring Primark

Another day, another dollar... or something like that. Sorry to include this skirt again oh so quickly after this post, but I threw caution to the wind once more yesterday morning, ditching my planned outfit of tights and a dress in favour of this skirt and another jumper. Woops. I did have a strappy top on underneath, but weather didn't permit the need for a strapless bra today.

I've had this bag for a while but fell out of love with it; when it arrived it had this (awful) gold stitching around the strap, which was not pictured when I ordered it. Anyway, I finally said "F it, I'm cutting that s*** off", and wahhhlaa I have a bag that I pretty much laaaaaaav; except I'm struggling to fit all my "essentials" inside it for work.

Talking of work...I don't wanna say too much too soon, but I'm just so over the moon, buzzing and increasingly EXCITED. And it's all because... Well, I will say that I have a desk, a work email address, oh and a title to call my own! No more hot desking my way around the office, temping and dreading the unknown. SO EXCITING. I'll tell all soon, and believe me when I say their will be a few treats in store :)

What do you think of this red ensemble?

OOTD // Transitional Dressing

Jumper Zara // Red Maxi River Island // Black Tassel Bag Primark // High Top Converse Office

I'm fed up of staring longingly at my summer wardrobe, so today I said F you to the weather and opted for a transitional look, which surprisingly didn't leave me feeling cold. Win. I always see gorgeous wavy haired hippy chic girls, (mainly on the tube) looking super cool in their maxi's and converses, which was (obviously) my big inspiration for today. THANKS GIRLS. I'm now craving all sorts of patterned, floral and damn right comfy maxi's to mix with my Chuck Taylor's.
What do you think?

Primark Haul

Paneled String Vest £6 // Spot Boyfriend Tee £4 // Stripe Boyfriend Tee £4 // Varsity T-Shirt Dress £6 // Laser Cut Out Clutch £6 // Laser Cut Out Flats £8
Blue Stone £2.50 // Pink Stone £2
Printed Smock £13 // Graduated layer top £12 // Cotton Midi £7

I've always been one of those people who loveees Primark, you know cos it's kinda on the Marmite scale of liking things. But then again I've always been one of the lucky ones who finds things in there, ya know? Anyway, it's pretty blaaaady good at the moment and I've already totaled two visits this week...here's what I picked up.

I'm loving there Boyfriend Tee's, they're just the perfect shape and even my similar Topshop one has been demoted to gym wear in favour of Primark's version. I succumbed and joined the Varsity crew; again a complete Topshop copy but for a fraction of the price and in a colour that's not going to be see-through, I just couldn't resist. This paneled string vest looks long enough to double as a dress, I'll be throwing it over a bikini if a holiday arrives.

You may have seen a few days ago I posted this clutch to my instagram, it's so pretty and is more of a neon yellow than how it's pictured here. I can't wait to team it with some really summery dresses. I also picked up this really cute printed smock, I thought it would be perfect for hangover dressing as it looks so easy to throw together. I'll also be packing it for my festivals later this year.

What do you think of Primark? Are you a fan or can't stand the thought of stepping inside one?
