Sportswear has undoubtedly been huge since London hosted 2012's Olympics, aside from becoming more sporty as a nation (actual gym clobber has rocketed), everyday fashion choices are decidedly more athletic and one key piece we can't live without are trainers.

Farfetch have a huge luxurious database, full of high end, mouthwateringly-good, designer kicks. If you're going to splash out on one piece to nail the sports luxe trend this season, it's definitely going to be feet-pleasing.

Head over to Farfetch and tell me which one's are your favourite?

Wish List // Wild Child

ashleigh skinner tan-talk motel topshop le specs adidas gazelles asos jewellery 90s wish list
Crop Motel // Shorts TOPSHOP // Choker ASOS // Sunnies Le Specs // Swimsuit Black Motel // Swimsuit White Motel // Kicks Adidas x The Farm via Urban Outfitters // Dress Motel // Bandeau TOPSHOP // Ring ASOS

For me, Motel are one of the best independent brands available on the high street, their offering of unique and unparalleled prints are immediately recognisable, stand out and completely unmatched by other stores. This coupled with their ability to recognise and even emphathise with a consumer need for statement shapes and complimentary design make Motel top of my wishlist for almost every occasion, even if that occasion just happens to be pay day.

I've been eyeing up the Dahlia Citrus range for a while now, with this cold shoulder dress being my main source of envy! Who wouldn't want a cute daisy print crop, it'll ride you through festival season and is easy enough to pair with shorts/skirts or pretty much whatever you please! Don't even get me started on the swim range... As I'm all booked to go to Ibiza this summer, I desperately need some hard-working swimwear that'll keep me looking fancy despite being too hungover to function; and these definitely fit the bill.

ASOS are rolling out some incredible 90's grunge inspired accessories, I saw this super cute choker over on Clash of Clothes instagram and knew immediately it had to be mine! I'm equally as obsessed with any form of mood ring, this one's so big and alluring I just couldn't get enough. It also reminds me of one of my fave childhood films, My Girl - bit of a weepy but a good'un.

Who doesn't turn to TOPSHOP when in need of an outfit, it's such an easy first or even last minute alternative and definitely one of my favourite stores for just about anything. Currently, they're fuelling my nostalgic need for gingham, one of, if not my favourite print... ever.

I feel like my prayers were answered when Adidas hooked up with The Farm Company for a collabo, I'm loving all of the co-ords, but these trainers are definitely "The Ones". I can't get enough of trainers at the moment, so comfortable, street and let's face it blaady cool. You always look busy in trainers in a "can't stop, I'm rushing to the gym" style, when in fact you're just rushing out to meet friends and show off your new gazelles.

Well... there's only one more item on this wish list to discuss. Yup, the totally amazing WILD CHILD Le Specs Sunglasses, I never believed in love at first sight... Until an aptly named, round gold twist of colourful delight came into my life. Even more delightful is the more than affordable price point accompanied by the Le Specs range. Eye protection is no laughing blinking matter.

What are you wishing for this summer? What's caught your eye here? Do you love Motel?

Kimono Primark // Dress Missguided (Similar// Boots TOPSHOP (Similar) // Backpack New Look // Choker Ebay // Necklace Ebay

Picked up this little beauty of a kimono in primarini, pre-holibobs - so around two weeks ago now (Go, Go, GO!) and it's hardly left my back since. I've been styling it in a range of random ways, mainly mixing it with other prints in a delightful clash. I think it's perhaps going to be a new Primark cult buy... whaddya thunk?!

Also, in case you hadn't noticed I've been loving up Ebay for random boho/90's jewellery pieces... if you are willing to wait the 4 weeks for delivery then it's totally worth it (kerrrrching?!). In actual fact, I think the long delivery times allow you to forget about your purchase so when they do arrive it makes for a nice surprise/present to yourself. Double win.

If you'd like to see other ways I'd style up this baby... holla below :)

A Little Something I Styled Earlier... [Look One]

Trench TOPSHOP // Crop River Island // Trousers River Island // Shoes TOPSHOP // Earrings H&M

Hello hello, it's been a while again (sorry!) but take a look at what I've been working on in the mean time. The lovely (and incredibly gorgeous as well as talented) Sheena Evans asked me to style her upcoming EP promotional shoot and what great fun we had. Here's just a little glimpse of the first outfit I whipped up, but doesn't she look amazing?! There are more to come, but I didn't want to drown you with a photo heavy post after my absence.

In other news, I've left my job, flown to Greece for a few days and am now going fully freelance in the styling game. Yep, a lot seems to have changed.

I hope you've all been greeeat.

Please check out Sheena's social channels below (& give her a like, if ya like) and also our lovely photographer Sarah Ann Wright's website.

If ya fancy a chat...

Wish List // Crushin' on Key Pieces

Spring trend wish list outfit topshop asos river island le specs craig x karl gingham pastels
Necklace ASOS // Dress TOPSHOP BOUTIQUE // Bag River Island // Sunglasses Le Specs Craig x Karl // Coat ASOS // IPhone Case ASOS // Jeans TOPSHOP // Holographic Boots Boohoo

An outfit inspired by this UHMAZING bag, I've been eagerly checking RI on a daily basis after seeing it originally on the e-campaign. I'm SO upset it's arrived after I've (stupidly) spent every penny I have, so if anyone's feeling generous... C'mon now don't be shy.

I'm so thrilled gingham has made it's way into spring trends, it's my absolute favourite print and I'm trying very hard not to covet every item it engulfs this season. (Tried and failing, I'll be a walking checkerboard soon).

HOW HOW HOW incredible are these holographic boots?! #NEED They'll dress up any day time look and will serve there wear as any hard-working fashionista transitions to evening. Coupled with this perfect muted grey fluffy coat, no wearer will be cold again.

I figured this TOPSHOP Boutique dress could work well with a snuggly jumper underneath it for the day, thrown over a pair of jeans (TRENDING!). Equally dressed up for a night out with a simple crescent necklace and some holographic boots, you're all set to go.

What's your favourite piece and trend this season?
